In an exciting development for MBC Insurance we will soon be introducing a new safer and faster payment method for our customers. This is an automatic account-to-account transfer, from your bank account to our bank account. You will not have to type in any IBAN details to complete a payment; you will just be asked to approve the payment by your bank or via your banking App.
This is part of our continued and ongoing developments and efforts to be the market leader in the provision of Insurance Broking Servicers to our clients. We aim to embrace technology on an ongoing basis evolving and simplifying our client journey where possible. With this development we will be one of the first Insurance Brokers in Ireland offering this fast, safer and easier payment transfer option.
This new payment method is an EU policy push under Open Banking, led by the Irish EU Financial Services commissioner Mairead McGuinness. The objective is for safer, easier, and faster payments for both consumers and businesses.
MBC Insurance will be automatically notified when you have made the payment.
This payment method is powered by NoFrixion, An Irish company which is regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland.
