Due to the impact of Storm Eowyn, Insurer are currently experiencing an exceptionally high volume of claims notifications due to this extreme nationwide event. Please be assured that if you have contacted us to inform us of an incident we have notified your insurers of your incident and we would expect them to reach out to you for direct contact over the coming days. Thank you for your patience.
We would highly recommend that you retain a Public Loss Assessors to act on your behalf in this matter. We would encourage you to make contact with one ASAP
A public loss assessor, also known as a loss assessor, is an independent professional who helps policyholders manage insurance claims. They are experts in insurance policies and claims processes and work on behalf of a client and take the stress out of managing and formulating a claim for a client. They work for the client (not the insurer) and would strive to maximise the payment of the claim available under the policy conditions and covers. The payment for their services is taken from the settlement and is agreed in advance, in most cases the maximisation of the payment under the policy more than covers the charge for using their services.

What to do after a storm:
If your property has been affected by a storm, it can be frightening, but do not panic; there are some steps you can follow.
- Be careful: The most important thing is that you look after your safety. If your property has suffered damage, be wary of loose roof tiles that can come fall at any time. Look to check their condition from a safe distance.
- Take photos: From a safe distance, take photos of any damage that occurred. Make a list also, as this will be useful for your insurers to process your claim more smoothly.
- Keep receipts: If you make any emergency repairs such as roof repair or glass replacement, keep receipts of these.
Important : Please take care, avoid unnecessary travel, and stay informed.
