Motor insurance
Car insurance is a legal requirement in Ireland. Three levels of cover are available to drivers:

• Third party, fire and theft
• Third party only
Legal expenses insurance
Generally an add-on to motor insurance, legal expenses insurance covers aspects of motor claims which are not insured under a standard motor policy.
Personal accident insurance
